Volunteers

Copiah County Medical Center is excited to announce the addition of the Volunteer Auxiliary. The Volunteer Auxiliary will provide the opportunity for persons ages 21 and over volunteer to CCMC. Our goal is to assemble a team of volunteers, made up of committed men and women, who provide valuable services to the staff, patients, and visitors at Copiah County Medical Center. Volunteering gives those interested in contributing to the welfare of the hospital and the community an outlet to serve in a variety of roles and activities.

Auxiliary members are called on to help with a variety of duties and activities that assist our visitors, patient family members, and hospital staff. We are interested in cheerful and willing people who can answer phones, direct visitors, prepare information packets, deliver mail and many other behind the scene efforts.

Benefits of Volunteering:

Fulfillment from giving back
Fellowship with other volunteers
A rewarding activity that keeps you active
Free annual flu shot

Volunteers must be at least 21 years old and must go through our orientation process. If you are interested in becoming a CCMC volunteer, or if you would just like more information, please call (601) 574-7000
