Biography:
Michael "Luke" Brasel PA-C was born in Jackson, MS but raised in Port Gibson, MS. He is a graduate of University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology. He attended the Physician Assistant Studies program at Mississippi College where he obtained a Master's of Medical Science degree and degree in Physician Assistant studies. His clinical training was done at various rural clinics in Mississippi as well as Mississippi hospitals such as UMMC and Baptist. He has been practicing Family and Urgent care medicine as a PA since 2013. Luke is board certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants. His professional affiliations include The American academy of Physician Assistants and the Mississippi Academy of Physician Assistants.
Luke has been married for 19 years to his wife Amanda who was born and raised in Hazlehurst, MS. They now live in Crystal Springs with their 2 children. In his free time Luke enjoys outdoor activities with his wife and children including hunting, fishing, and camping.
Luke has a drive and dedication for helping to provide access to compassionate quality care for the citizens of the community in which he lives.
